Candidates receive a scale score out of 100 for each of the 3 sections of the test (Quantitative reasoning, Critical reasoning, Verbal and plausible reasoning) together with a Total Scale Score and Total Percentile Rank. The percentile rank indicates how a candidate performed in relation to other candidates who have sat uniTEST. uniTEST results are valid for 2 years.
Results for candidates who sat uniTEST 2024 have been released. Notification emails have been sent to candidates from ACER. The email includes information about how to retrieve your results online.
You will be provided with a scale score for each section of the test and a total scale score. Scale scores are used rather than raw (number right) scores as scale scores have the same meaning from one year to the next. Raw test scores may not. This is important because uniTEST results are valid for more than one year. The percentile rank indicates how you performed in relation to other Australian candidates who have sat uniTEST.
Please contact Flinders University if you have queries regarding the selection criteria.
If you have not received the results notification email, firstly, check your junk mail folder as the email may have been blocked by your email provider. Please add the uniTEST email address tertiaryservices@acer.org to your contacts list. Some candidates may have their email addresses recorded incorrectly in ACER's database. If you require the email to be sent again please email your request to the uniTEST office, and provide your full name, email address and date of birth.
ACER will not enter into appeals against uniTEST results. Nor is it possible to give any special consideration for impaired performance on the day of the test caused by illness or other unexpected personal situations.
Candidates are advised that uniTEST results are released only after careful calculation and extensive checking.
Requests for re-mark must be made within four months of the test date. Requests must be made in writing to the uniTEST Office via post to Private Bag 55, Camberwell VIC 3124 or email tertiaryservices@acer.org
A fee of $150 (GST inclusive) is payable for this service. In the unlikely case of a scoring error being found, the re-mark fee would be refunded, and the candidate and the participating universities would be notified.
